Q1. As the Editor in chief of the Journal of the anatomical society of India what significant results have been obtained regarding indexing and viewership of the Journal during your tenure?
Answer: When I took over as the Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Anatomical Society of India (JASI), my first goal was to get this prestigious journal indexed. JASI was in existence since last 60 years but somehow it could not get indexed. Therefore, I took it up as a challenge to get it indexed in reputed indexing agencies. It was my dream since last 10 years before taking up as the editor-in-chief of JASI to see this journal indexed. I therefore worked very hard for it and today by the grace of god the journal is indexed in the top indexing agencies of the world such as web of science, Science Citation Index expanded, Scopus etc. It is important to know is that once your article is appearing in Science Direct, it has already become global. Thus, today we have a truly international Journal in place. Earlier the viewership was only from India, but now it is from across the globe.
