As a child takes its first breath on this earth, a series of different phases in life gets opened up and there is a subtle message from GOD that “your time starts now”. In the first phase ‘childhood’, we are molded by our parents-the first teachers . Then starts the second phase when we enter the school. Here, at this spot the budding mind start analyzing .The journey continues… In my academic journey of more than sixteen years I have experienced a great and welcome change in the students in all aspects of academic development.

After parents, students spend more than thousand hours with their teacher in a typical academic year which is I think is sufficient time to build a student –teacher relationship. This relationship has the potential to ignite a spark of lifetime learning. College life is so full of excitement .The experience is like ‘Alice in wonderland’ and one feels like taking part of a Harry Potter series. Indeed this is the most memorable phase of life that can never be erased from the hippocampus located in the temporal lobe of the brain.

Nature varies from person to person. Every classroom has different types of students In the historic era there was culture of “guru-shishya parampara” and student’s perception and behavior was very much different in comparison to the current era. There were limited resources and study was totally based upon verbal and practical performances . The student’s sense of respect towards their “gurus” was utmost.
