In today’s era, we as human beings have become oblivious to relish and appreciate green around us. Rather we are trapped in a black hole. This type of behaviour is described as Plant Blindness. The term Plant Blindness was coined by Wandersee and Schussler in 1999. It is the inability to notice and appreciate the huge important of plants in the environment. 80% of all the biomass on this Earth is made up of plants. They are the pillars of the ecosystem as plants provide food, shelter, oxygen and support to human beings. Despite this, we do not feel an attachment towards their serene existence.
