Social evils are the issues that affect our society, directly or indirectly. These include Discrimination, Stigmatization, Oppression, Exploitation, Illiteracy, Female feticide, Child marriage, Gender inequality. All of us are aware of these terms, as these are taught in schools. Our civics textbook had given us a clear vision on these social evils by including real time examples and scenarios in the concerned chapters. Since these practices were taught as EVILS in schools, we believed them and realized that social reforms are imperative for the development of the society.
