The medical curriculum is tough and it is becoming tougher day by day. The modern-day undergraduate faces a big challenge. There is so much to do. The expectations are higher. The distractions are far more than they were 20-30 years ago. And the biggest problem – one always finds oneself short of time!!
This is the conundrum that most students find themselves in. And this is partly because even though the nature of the medical curriculum has changed, our time management strategies have not evolved fast enough.
The essence of time management in the current scenario is effective prioritization. Obviously, one canʼt be a master of everything or be at all places. What eventually defines the outcome is how well one has assigned oneʼs priorities and acted upon them.
