The word humanity is derived from the latin word – “humanitas” for “human nature, kindness.” Humanity is defined as compassionate, sympathetic or generous behavior or disposition: the quality or state of being humane. The term was coined in mid 15th century. Humanity is far beyond just harboring the humane feeling, it is helping others at times when they need that help the most. It is not restricted to mere humans and it means extending unconditional love to each and every living being on earth.
