Humor has been shown to boost motivation, improve problem-solving skills, foster creativity and critical thinking, promote a happy learning atmosphere, and reduce exam anxiety. Because we approach it with sarcasm, many of us fail in this area. This type of humor should never be used in the classroom since it has the potential to hurt students’ feelings if handled incorrectly. Learning will also not take place, students will  get distracted and fail to meet the class’s learning objectives.
